Timeline of a Century On Display at Marvin Hall
May 13, 2013
A panoramic, graphical timeline of events of the past century will be on display in Marvin Hall for the next few weeks. The 100-foot long, six-foot high collage seamlessly documents hundreds of cultural milestones, starting with the launch of the Titanic in 1912 and ending with the Boston Marathon bombings of a few weeks ago.

The award winning Roth Trailhead structure, designed by the Department of Architecture’s Dirtworks Studio, is american-architects.com’s Building of the Week. The Dirtworks Studio is a third-year architecture studio taught by Chad Kraus, assistant professor of Architecture.

The public is invited to tour the new Hill Engineering Research and Development Center, located on the University of Kansas west campus. The building will be open between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8.
Design Department Work to be Featured in Four Exhibitions

In the coming weeks the public will have the opportunity to view the University of Kansas Department of Design’s best student work in four different venues. A variety of projects be on display, including illustrations and animations, photography and industrial designs.
