The University of Kansas School of Architecture offers three undergraduate degrees. Admission to the Master of Architecture (M.Arch. I) program leads to a five-year degree that is fully accredited by NAAB and meets the certification requirements of NCARB. The School of Architecture and the School of Engineering also offer an undergraduate program in Architectural Engineering. Students are admitted to the program by the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and are listed as students of both schools. A third program, the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Architectural Studies, is a four-year liberal arts program that covers architectural theory and history but does not include design studios.
