Gera began working at the University in 1970 and in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1983.  She was Administrative Assistant in the Urban Planning Program for 14 years and then became Admissions Coordinator for the School in 1997.

Gera enjoys playing with her grandchildren, making Sunday dinners for her family, playing cards and gardening.
