Computer Lab Policy for the School of Architecture

Policy Name: Computer Lab Policy

Policy Purpose: To define the Computer Lab Policy

Scope: Students in the Professional Architecture Programs

Policy:
The computer labs of the School of Architecture and Urban Design are limited in use to members of the school and its affiliates and designates.  The equipment in the labs is solely funded by the student tech fee.  Lab equipment is, however, the sole property of the University of Kansas and is therefore subject to all restrictions and limitations governed by the University.  The following general rules apply:

No food or beverage, except water is allowed in the labs
  • All equipment, chairs, tables etc are to remain in their respective labs at all times.
  • 24 Hour Security Survelliance will be provided by ACSS
  • Digital locks restricting physical access will be maintained and operational
  • The labs will remain open for student use 24/7/365 except during posted classes and maintenance periods.
  • Use of the equipment is restricted for its intentional purpose.  Abuse use of the equipment or facility will result in limited operational hours.

Printing and pricing schedules will be strictly enforced
