Student FAQs

Q: Why do I get an error box - that says my account has been disabled - when I log-in to my SAUD account?

A: We have consolidated accounts so that you now only have to use one domain - the HOME domain. Access to the SAUD domain for students have been disabled permanently. By creating a centralized domain, you will only have to memorize one username and password from now on. However, your old files should still be accessible to you. So if you can't find your old files when you login into your accounts, please contact Henry at 864-3203 or visit him in room 222 Marvin Hall.

Q: How do I change my password now that we don't use the SAUD domain?

A: You change your password the same way you change your KU online account by going to this website:

https://www.aims.ku.edu/password/

Q: Why is my file missing when I login into the computers in the labs and the studio?

A: Some accounts exhibit this kind of issue due to the HOME and SAUD domain consolidation. If you find that you cannot see your old files, please contact Henry at 864-3203 or visit him in room 222 Marvin.
