Policy on IT Network Use for the School of Architecture

Policy Name: IT Network USe Policy

Policy purpose: To define the IT Network Use Policy

Scope: Students in the BArch and MArch Programs

Policy:
All lab machines, faculty and staff machines and related technologies including network printers and other devices used on the network both wired and wireless will be registered with Architectural Computing Services and Support.  All network enabled devices and their users will also adhear to standards set forth by the provost in campus it security policy.

All access to the SAUP network will be controlled by a password protection policy.  This policy is subject to change with notice at any time that ACSS deems it appropriate and or necessary.  Only students, faculty and or staff who are members of the SAUP family may use the SAUP network.  This policy has an exception on the wireless network.  All members of the KU community are allowed access by logging in with their KU Online ID.
